This is a decorative ethno-fantasy Tribal mask created by the famous mime and sculptor/artist/jeweler Robert Shields in 1992. The one-of-a-kind ceramic mask is in new condition in the original plexiglass shadow box with exotic feathers. It is as nice as the day I bought it in 1992. Robert Shields was one of the best actor mimes ever. He performed on the street at Union Square in San Francisco, and I worked at I. Magnins across the street watching him for hours on end...he was riveting and hilarious! Red Skelton said: "There are perhaps 35 great clowns in the world and Robert Shields might be the best".
